Most of our Tropical Hibiscus are perfectly suited for full sun in Plant Hardiness Zone 8 or higher. Tropical hibiscus will survive in tempertures as low as 40 degree for short periods of time, although some leaf damage may occur. If you live in a lower USDA Hardiness Zone you can keep your hibiscus in containers and move them indoors where they will continue to bloom if given a few hours of direct sunlight.
